MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN FERNANDO VALLEY CHAPTER-CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS A Mutual Benefit Corporation.

The chairperson called the meeting to order at 12:39 PM. Parshaw arrived at 12:40 PM. Shawn LaRe left at 1:32 p.m. Meeting was adjourned at 2:30 PM.

The August meeting notes and minutes were approved. The meeting agenda was approved.  

1. Various matters of chapter business were discussed and input was received from members of the Board. Committee updates included:

2. Motions
   1. A motion was made to offer diversity segment speakers free admission to the workshop they are speaking at. The motion was approved.
   2. A motion was made to reimburse Tiffanie’s payment of workshop fee for today’s diversity segment speaker. The motion was approved.
   3. A motion was made to set a budget of up to $250 in order to purchase tools to improve online experiences such as a webcam, stand and microphone holder. The motion was approved.   
   4. A motion was made to set the budget for the volunteer appreciation event at $2,500.  Volunteers are free and allowed to bring one guest for free. Members and their guests are welcome to participate at $30 early registration and $40 late registration. The motion was approved.

   1. There being no further business, on motion duly made, seconded and carried, the meeting was adjourned. The meeting was adjourned at 2:30 PM.
