Carol Tyree, AMFT

2024 Scholarship Recipient


Carol Tyree is a Registered Associate Marriage and Family Therapist who earned her M.A. in Counseling Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy from National University and a B.A. in Music from California State University Northridge. Carol started working at the Early Life Child Psychology & Education Center after completing an internship at the California Family Counseling Center. She also has over 10-years experience working in the health administration field.

Carol works with individuals, couples, and families, integrating various therapies and best practices to suit each client’s needs and promote a balanced lifestyle. She has experience helping clients with anxiety, depression, mindfulness, relational issues, anger management, trauma, neurodivergent challenges, parenting and life transitions.

Carol offers a caring, person-centered approach, seeks to listen, understand, and learn from clients about their culture and values, and believes all clients deserve kindness, sensitivity, and compassion. Carol is reachable at (323) 577 3393 or ctyree864@gmail.com.
