De-coding Eating Disorder Urges and Understanding Their Purpose
with Sherry Fleming, LMFT
A common misperception is that eating disorders are about vanity; they are about self-preservation or survival. When a person's life circumstances become disturbing to the point that they lack the resources to cope or survive, they may develop an eating disorder.

Sherry Fleming, LMFT is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who has been helping people heal from eating disorders since 2000. She felt a calling to help others after recovering from anorexia nervosa and bulimia nervosa, since she understands the depth of the struggle.
