MINUTES OF THE MEETING OF THE BOARD OF DIRECTORS OF SAN FERNANDO VALLEY CHAPTER-CALIFORNIA ASSOCIATION OF MARRIAGE AND FAMILY THERAPISTS A Mutual Benefit Corporation.

The chairperson called the meeting to order at 12:59 pm. The meeting was adjourned at 1:34 pm.


1. The July meeting minutes and notes were approved


2. Various matters of chapter business were discussed and input was received from members of the Board. Committee updates included:

3. Motions
   1. A motion was made to approve the proposed budget for 2020 Theater of the Mind event for $2230 with a $750 deposit to be paid when contract is signed. No further funds will be set aside for this event without request in writing and board approval. The motion was seconded and unanimously approved by the board.
   2. A motion was made to approve the recommendation letter as written and for it to be from the VP of Programs on chapter letterhead by email. The motion was seconded and unanimously approved by the board.
   3. A motion was made to change the payment processing system from Authorize.net to the Wild Apricot payments in order to avoid the $375 annual service fee, the board will re-evaluate this decision if there are any additional costs or challenges to making this switch. The motion was seconded and unanimously approved by the board.
