Bio/Statement
Mr. Ilya Shtykan is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and Masters Degree graduate in Marriage and Family Counseling from National University: Woodland Hills campus.
In addition, Ilya have worked with multiple organizations and various types of client populations. Ilya has provided counseling for children and adolescents as part of a school based program. Also, Ilya currently provides counseling services for sufferers of co-occurring substance abuse and mental health disorders at a methadone clinic. Ilya has gained a lot of valuable insight about himself as an aspiring therapist through being a part of these programs. He has also developed an empathetic understanding of the patients and the everyday struggles they endure. Ilya's long-term goal in this field is to increase his expertise, help make a positive change in the lives of the clients, and provide a meaningful service which makes a difference. Ilya is very interested in expanding his range of knowledge and experience.
Ilya is very passionate about assisting people find positive ways in dealing with their issues and struggles.
