This course is intended for advanced/licensed therapists.

Learning Objectives
In successfully completing and attending this presentation, participants will be able to:
  1. Distinguish the difference between "Cultural Competence" and "Cultural Sensitivity."
  2. Identify at least one question that will help trainees to develop "Cultural Sensitivity."
  3. Describe how complex cultural issues truly are.

Time:
12:00-1:30pm
Attendees will earn 1.5 CEUs for participation in the group. Attendees will also have the opportunity to earn 1 additional CEU for reading the article and bringing a 250 word reflective response to the group meeting. You can earn up to 2.5 supervision CEUs by participating!
Course meets the qualifications for 2.5 hour of continuing education credit for LMFTs, LCSWs, LPCCs, and/or LEPs as required by the California Board of Behavioral Sciences. CEU completion certificates will be awarded when participants complete the course evaluation after group meeting.
