The SFV-CAMFT Somatic Practices Group wants to invite you to the 2nd gathering of this new group!

The Somatic Practices Group has four fundamental purposes: social engagement and community building, skill building, case consultation, and community education.

This Special Interest Group is for anyone who is interested in somatic practice and is interested in: learning more and expanding their knowledge about somatic practice, case consults, networking and making connections with like-minded practitioners. You must be a chapter member to participate; sign up here.
The format for our two-hour group meeting is:
  • 4:00 Introductions
  • 4:15 Michael Shiffman, Ph.D.: Tracking Regulation and Distress Cycles (Short Presentation, 3 Exercises, Discussion)
  • 5:00 Break
  • 5:15 Michele Economou, MFT: Case Presentation
  • 5:45 Discussion
