Mary Cohen is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in Los Angeles, CA. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from California State University Northridge (CSUN) and a Master of Arts in Psychology with an emphasis is Marriage and Family Therapy from Phillips Graduate University. After a brief time as a Research Assistant at CSUN in her undergraduate studies, Mary realized that her true passion lies in clinical work. Mary found herself wanting to learn more about the individual’s story and the desire to be the vessel of providing opportunities for change. Mary continued to pursue her passion by providing mental health services in community based work in the San Fernando Valley for 6 years leading up to her current private practice in Woodland Hills, CA. Mary specializes in children and teenagers affected by anxiety and depression, as well as adults with complex trauma as a result of growing up in dysfunctional homes due to abuse, substances, and/or addiction.
