The SFV-CAMFT Outreach Committee, in partnership with the Los Angeles County Psychological Association (LACPA) and Cal-State Northridge (CSUN) Department of Kinesiology, is so excited and proud to bring you our: 

               2nd annual "Theatre of the Mind" special event:



Theatre of the Mind

 



Please join us for an exciting evening of theater, music, and dance—all with one thing in common: the journey toward psychological healing and growth.  This evening of performances recognizes the artistic creativity that co-exists within psychotherapists.


Theater of the Mind will engage your senses as you are taken through a carefully-curated show full of creative expression in an intimate theater setting. Including everything from dynamic dance performances to thought-provoking dramatic pieces, you don’t want to miss out. 

     

Performances: 

  • Original R&B/soul music - by Homefry Niles (Niles Willits-Spolin, LMFT)
  • Kintsugi, a choreographed dance about trauma recovery - by Mariko Iwabuchi, Postdoctoral Fellow
  • Original songs - performed by Abby Wolf (Abby Zilch, LMFT)
  • Original guitar compositions - by Jeff Jessum, PhD
  • Wyandot/Echo & Narcissus, two choreographed dance performances - by Paula Thomson, PsyD
  • Mirrors of My Mind Redux, an original duet - by Jonathan Dawe and Terry Marks-Tarlow, PhD
  • The Year 2060 (that's 40 years into the future, for those of you who can't count), a play - by Carole Field, LMFT
