"Women with an Anxious Attachment Style in Romantic Relationships: Etiology, Misconceptions, and Treatment Tips"
This presentation is designed to shed more light on a specific demographic, modern women who are seeking romantic relationships, but who are struggling due to an anxious attachment style. There is a lot of misconception about this segment of the population, and due to these misconceptions, these women continue suffering with the similar kind of emotional wounding as the original emotional wounds or traumas that stem from their family of origin. Understanding these misconceptions will help us empower our clients with more effective interventions, so they can thrive in their romantic relationships. The background knowledge of this presentation is based on well researched field of attachment theory and my training in Sensorimotor Psychotherapy, as well as years of my work with women who are seeking romantic relationships.
The goal of this course is to improve sophistication and overall understanding of challenges modern women with an anxious attachment style face in romantic relationships.
